Hi, and a warm homely welcome to Toerist Modernist.
Toerist Modernist was founded in 2019 by me, Gerlin Heestermans, and aims to put modernist heritage in Belgium on the map. From art deco over mid century to functionalism, brutalism, etc. - for such a small country we are spoilt with amazing modernist architecture, and most of it stays unnoticed and under the radar. I intend to bring these buildings to people's attention and make them accessible (both literally and figuratively).
